Tony's easily has the best pizza in the North Wales area. They do have drawbacks though...they don't deliver, they don't take credit cards (although you can use their ATM for a fee so they don't have to pay the credit card companies and make some extra from you for not having cash.....and their prices are above average...for pizza. Their cheesesteaks are a little whimpy as far as the meat. Regardless, I keep going back until someone else decides to step up and make a decent pie.

Best but the best pizza ever! All their food is great. Best part of this place is they make you feel like family. I recently lost my dad and when I got there to order pizza they stopped what they were doing, hugged me and gave me their condolences. Tony even came over and shared a beautiful story about his dad. I grew up eating Tonys pizza. Seriously they beat Nino by far. I can't imagine this small town without Tonys.

Tony's is the best! We picked up our first pizza at Tony's the day we closed on our house in North Wales 10 years ago, and haven't looked back. Our kids are being raised on these pies. Pizzas are consistently delicious, hot sandwiches (chicken parm, cheese steaks, etc) are always good. Service can be a little gruff at times, but it's a real mom and pop operation, and we love it there. They have outdoor seating, which our kids love in the warmer months so they can watch fire trucks and trains come and go. Just keep in mind it's cash only.

Wow. Just had my first pie from Tony's and I was very happy. Got the pizza that's in the cover photo here, the chicken and broccoli with a creamy cheese sauce, and it was delicious. Just moved in to the area and was looking at pictures on Yelp, saw this one and asked the guy at the register if he could give me whatever was in the picture. Luckily a gentleman in the back knew what I was talking about, because it turns out this is some kind of special order that's only made by one guy (possibly Vinny). Took about 15-20 minutes and cost $23, but this thing was well worth it. The chicken was nice and thin (similar to the style some catering companies have when they do marsala) and just melted in your mouth. The broccoli added a good contrast in taste and texture and could make you think you were eating healthy. Then, whatever that sauce is really sealed the deal. It definitely has a nice "kick" of flavor to it. I swear I tasted a little lemon to it, but I could be wrong. I had three slices for lunch, then my wife and I had the remaining 5 for dinner. The slices aren't huge, but they are nice and filling because they're loaded up with so much deliciousness. I really cannot wait to order another! Highly recommend trying this pizza out!

I am going to eat here every time I am visiting. I felt like I was back in Brooklyn as soon as I walked in - except the restaurant was super clean. The pizza was delicious, and the staff were friendly.

Today was my first time here, I enjoyed the baked ziti and garlic bread. They are very friendly here and the food is delicious! It's a nice, well lit ambiance which is inviting and I had plenty of food to take home, they give very generous portions. The price was very good too!

BEST. PIZZA. EVER. The only thing better than their pizza is overhearing Vinny tell stories to people. And every time he answers the phone, it's pure gold.

Pizza preference is subjective, but personally, we find Tony's pizza bland, the crust tasteless, and the pie indifferently made. We stop in maybe once a year to see if anything has improved, and it never does, although Tony's does have its fans. Oddly there's no other way to describe the counter service than uninterested, and sometimes even borderline rude, and as if it's an inconvenience to take our order. Given there's a papa john's across the street, one would think they'd be doing their best to win and retain customers. But whatever... we aren't difficult or demanding customers, but perhaps other folks have better experiences.

My mom-mom was a bartender for the club above firehouse for many many years and whenever we went to see her, we would get pizza from Tony's! It is by far THE BEST in the area, and their tomato pie is UNBEATABLE! The Sinatra is by far my favorite! If you haven't tried Tony's you're missing out!

Decent pizza. The best around? Well theres only one other pizza place in North Wales, so yes it is the best place in town. I like the pizza very hot right out of the oven but whatever cheese they use it drips grease and gets hard quickly as it cools. That is my only negative comment. The sauce and the dough are excellent. They make very good cheesesteaks. If you like tomato pie try a Sicilian tomato pie. Whoever says the counter help is rude doesn't know the place. It is family run and they don't go out of the way to fake being happy to put on a show for customers. They don't have to impress the boss because they are the owners. Enjoy the food. If there is something that makes North Wales a nice place it is Tony's.

I had the turkey hoagie today. It was good - not great, not bad. The place was very clean and the service was friendly and prompt. I will have to try out the pizza next time since it appears the reviews for the pie is very positive.

Every year i try to visit PA...and when i do i have to stop in Tony's!! The staff is all family, 2 sisters and a brother..occasionally you'll see pops working behind the counter! Reasonable prices and very fresh ingredients! Vinny always cooks up a specialty pizza when i bring my kids in. This is an old fashioned place. .*cash only* ..no checks or credit cards. Just how Mr. C kept it since he opened over 30 some years ago. What i like to order is the apps..jalapeño poppers..fries. .mozzarella sticks..and so on..its simple but really good! You have to try everything on the menu! You won't regret it!

Some of the best pizza in the Lansdale area, which isn't saying much, but it's still a solid lunch choice in the area. The place appears to be run by Tony's children with Tony often seen in the back supervising their every move (to his satisfaction or not). Order your slice at the counter (lots of slice options including Bbq chicken and sicilian) and it's hot and ready within a few minutes. Grab a seat wherever you want inside or outside and you have yourself a quality inexpensive lunch option. Just make sure you put the Parmesan cheese back in the refrigerator when you're done with it. The decor is nothing to write home about, but hey, it's just a pizza place, get over it. Lastly, the cheesesteak is a pretty solid alternative if you aren't in a pizza mood.

3 stars for pizza minus one star for the price. I always test a new pizza place with pepperoni pizza. First, they charged $15 for a small pie! I used to live in North Philly in an area with great pizza. Small pepperoni pie was $7 at Larry's. It's great there. The crust at Tony's is thin, around middle of the pie moisture soaks through it... I don't like it, and it's too salty.

Every time I go up to my boyfriend's house, we make a stop at Tony's. They are a family biz - very friendly people, I always feel welcomed and they never forget your face, it seems! Pizza crust is perfect if you're a fan of thin crust.

Hands down they are the BEST pizza in the north wales/lansdale area! They are family owned, no-nonse or frills great pizza. The owners are an amazing family and really develop a personal relationship with their customers. My only regret is not finding them sooner. Drawbacks-cash only and no delivery ( I joke w/them all the time that they need to change their policy)

I grew up eating Tony's pizza, walking in snowstorms to hang out, and having my parents pick it up every other week or so, but since moving to Upper Merion, I hadn't stopped in in quite a few years. I called to make an order for pickup and from that second, felt right at home all over again. I walked in and my pizza was ready for me and still hot, and I was greeted with a smile and left with a 'Thank You.' Call me crazy, but I didn't need a long conversation to make me satisfied with the experience. I walked in, was treated politely, got my great food, and was out the door. I'm glad to see Tony's is still family owned and operated with the best mushroom and pepperoni pizza I've ever had. Their sauce makes their pizza. Thanks for the reminder that I can leave Bridgeport once in a while and still have a great old-school pizza shop to visit.

I am not sure what to think of Tony's. The pizza is amazing. It is one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The rest of the food is just ok though and the customer service is terrible. They are also pretty expensive. The son, who seems to be there all the time, is pretty rude and does not seem to care about the customers. They gave my order away to the wrong person once and they barely even apologized for their mistake. I just had to sit there and have them make my order again. They are also cash only which is a PITA!

I'm in shock that people would actually say they would rather eat at Papa John's then Tony's! Papa John's pizza can't even compare to Pizza Hut, let alone a great place like Tony's. This is definitely the best pizza place in the area, and the have really good hoagies as well. The pizza is always ready when they tell you it is, and is not luke warm sitting under a heat lamp. If you eat there you actually get to watch them make the pizza and sandwiches, which is pretty cool. The only reason they didn't get five stars is that they don't deliver, and having moved outside of North Wales, it would be a little more convienent if they did delivery.

I have been going to this place for many many years. Their pizza has never let me down. Its so big and they toss it right in front of you. The sauce is a little sweet and tangy perfect for the mozzarella and light thin dough. Their crust is so good and its a perfect balance of chewy and crispy. I highly recommend their mushroom pizza. For some reason its the best I've ever had. I would also recommend their hoagies and their cheesesteaks are a standout as well. The decor is very close to what Italy would look like with the tile and terra cotta shingles covering their giant pizza oven. I recommend going in the winter for the warmth and coziness that they provide

Even though i shouldn't be eating pizza because i get tired for 2 days afterward starting 30 minutes after my first bite, Tony's is sooo good. their sauce is the secret. and they aren't skimpy with it which makes the pizza mouth watering. Thanks Tony for making my life a constant food coma!

Went here for dinner and food was not worth the price....food costs too much $$ and it's not fresh. Pizza toppings were not fresh. I decided to go here after ppl have told me that the food is great. The food was bland and overpriced. That was the 1st and last time I will ever be there again. Sorry, I should of went to Papa Johns across the street :(

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
